Jessie + Eric | Vail Colorado Ski Adventure Engagement Session

The first time I chatted with Jessie and Eric, they mentioned that they love to ski and snowboard together. When I was talking about the possibilities for their Adventure Engagement Session, they were intrigued by the idea of a ski session. I told them that I had not skied in years, but that I am always up for a challenge.

If you have not been to Vail Village in Colorado, it’s a must-see. We wandered around the cobblestone side walks that mimics a cute Swedish town. We also stopped in at this quaint little coffee shop where the view was of the fresh snow lined trees & mountain backdrop. We had a great time exploring the village and taking some fun portraits along the way.

Before hitting the slopes, we grabbed drinks and lunch. I shared with Jessie and Eric that my little family has a custom of sharing our Highs and Lows of the day at dinner time. So we decided it would be fun to share our highs and lows for the day, as of yet. I think it was a consensus that the low was having to wake up pretty early to drive to Vail (hello, ski traffic). It was also pretty anonymous that the fellowship at lunch was one of the highs. Getting to know each other and have real, genuine conversations is what fills my heart.

After lunch, we hit the slopes and had the best time skiing, laughing and making memories. It was a memorable and awesome session. I can not wait for Jessie & Eric’s wedding in Denver in September!
